Terms of Use

1. What this covers

These terms apply to the client, evaluator, and research portals at client.visualsnow.app, evaluate.visualsnow.app, and research.visualsnow.app, operated by Entropy Vector Group S.R.L. They do not cover the separate VisualSnow simulator apps (Android, iOS, VR, web), which have their own privacy terms focused on on-device data.

2. Not a medical device, not medical advice

The VisualSnow portals are a research and clinical-review tool. They are not a diagnostic device, and nothing shown in them — including risk scores, correlations, clustering results, or predictive models — constitutes a diagnosis or treatment recommendation. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional for medical decisions. If you are a patient using the client portal, using it does not create a doctor-patient relationship with anyone who reviews your case unless separately agreed.

3. Who can use each portal

• Client portal: for patients uploading their own symptom exports as part of the clinical research pilot, or for demonstration/evaluation purposes.
• Evaluator portal: for clinicians authorized (by invitation) to review patient cases as part of the study.
• Research portal: for researchers authorized to analyze anonymized, aggregated data.

Access to the evaluator, research, and admin roles is invitation-only. Do not attempt to access a role you have not been granted.

4. Your responsibilities

• Only upload your own data, or data you are authorized to upload on behalf of a participant who has given informed consent.
• Do not upload data belonging to someone else without their consent.
• Keep your account credentials secure; you are responsible for activity under your account.
• Use clinical review and research features only for their intended research/clinical purpose, not to re-identify anonymized participants.

5. Data and privacy

How your data is collected, stored, and used is described in the Privacy Policy. By using these portals you agree to that policy.

6. No warranty, limitation of liability

These portals are provided as part of an active research project, "as is," without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Entropy Vector Group S.R.L. is not liable for any damages arising from use of, or inability to use, these portals, including decisions made based on information shown in them. This limitation does not affect any rights you have under the clinical pilot's ethics-approved protocol, applicable consumer protection law, or mandatory provisions of Romanian or EU law that cannot be excluded by agreement.

7. Changes

These terms may be updated as the project and its data protection documentation mature. Material changes affecting clinical pilot participants will be communicated through the study's normal consent process, not just by editing this page.
